HELP SHAPE WHAT COMES NEXT

Your routine. Your phone.

Pesky Pill’s closed beta has started. It’s invitation-only and starts small: a few people at a time, on iPhone and Android. Our closed alpha, in our own household, is done. We’re learning how Pesky Pill fits into real medication routines. Reliability comes before a wider release.

Interested? Leave your email.

There’s no public download yet. Leave your email to hear about the beta and when it opens more widely, along with the occasional update. Signing up doesn’t guarantee an invitation.

How testing opens up.

  1. Closed alpha · Done

Tested in our own household, on iPhone.

  2. Closed beta · Now

By invitation, on iPhone and Android. Small groups first.

  3. Open beta · Later

Open to any adult who signs up, before any paid plan.

Where things stand.

CLOSED BETA

iPhone

The native iOS app includes dose times, printable QR codes, scan records, private-by-default notifications, and optional calls. Push notifications can appear while the app is open, too. Testers are invited through TestFlight, and reliability checks come before broader access.

iOS 16 or later. No public App Store release announced.

CLOSED BETA

Android

The native Android app is in the closed beta alongside iPhone. Testers are invited through Google Play testing, and reliability checks come before broader access.

Android 9 or later. No public Google Play release announced.

FREE TO PRINT

A custom organizer

A 3D-printed design in PLA Pure: a week of morning and evening doses in one piece, with slide-out lids and a QR code on each compartment floor. Pairing is available in the app; testing at home continues.

The print files are a free download, for a 3D printer that prints two colors. Ready-made organizers aren’t available to order yet. Printed codes support your own organizer; buying hardware isn’t required.

What we’re learning.

The beta focuses on reminder timing, matching a scan to the right dose, stopping later reminders after a recorded scan, and whether calls that keep coming until you scan help doses get taken.

Before you participate

Testing is for adults and is run by Megoosa Software LLC. Family accounts for kids are planned. Beta software can fail. Keep your existing medication routine and follow your clinician’s instructions. Read the privacy policy and participation information before joining.
